Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga with Pete Gill

Date: Thursday 9th September at The Chimney House.

We need ideally about 10+ people to make this happen.  If your interested just say so.  That way we can get an idea of numbers.

Ashtanga Yoga is a system of yoga transmitted to the modern world by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915-2009). This method of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.

    I’d like to give that a go, I have Sciatica in my right leg, probably due to cycling but I aint going to give it up, so hopefully this may help.

    Is they Yoga still going ahead this Thursday, if so what time does it start and what’s the score with equipment etc.
