Join the Community

The La Squadra community can be accessed through the community link in the navigation menu and also the admin bar that now appears along the top of the site:

You can use the admin bar to log in, join the community, browse your profile and acitivty. You may also find the ‘Skip to content’ link useful on smaller screens/monitors, clicking this will take you directly to the content on the page you are on (bypassing the La Squadra logo image). Below is an example of where you will end up if you click the ‘Skip to content’ link on the Join Us! page.

Join us!

Step 1 – Registration

Go to the registration page by using the Join us! link in the admin bar or below the login form:

Fill in your details and click Sign Up!

Step 2 – Profile Image

If you entered all your details correctly and your username is not already used, you will see the following screen:

If you already have Gravatar image associated with your email address, you will see it appear here and you can go ahead and activate your account using the link in the email that gets sent to you. If you would like to create a new profile image, click the ‘Browse’ button and upload a photo of yourself – you will be able to crop the image on the next page (if you’re a Firefox user, you may need to refresh the page once the image has been uploaded – this is a know issue):

Once you’re happy with your profile image, click the ‘Crop Image’ button.

Step 3 – Activation

Check your email inbox for your activation email, click the link within the email to activate your account:

If successful, you will see the Account Activated page:

Once you have successfully activated your account, you can now log in using the details you signed up with.
