The presence of technology plays a fundamental part within all modern businesses. Without computers, companies would be left without the ability to easily communicate with others, access important data, and store information. Online support specialists provide essential, proactive IT support, to ensure that disruptions are kept to a minimum; therefore, allowing your company to continue to benefit from the many advantages which technology provides.
An experienced IT support company, providing services to businesses, can provide you with indispensible skills without, the great costs associated with hiring your own in-house team. Online support specialists can provide a range of services offering different levels of support for different businesses, depending on their own level of requirement.
Such services include:
Online Backup
Ensuring all of your data is efficiently backed-up is crucial. Without an available backup, in the event of a disaster, you run the risk of permanently losing critical data. An online backup service eliminates the risk of human intervention by automatically creating an up-to-date copy of all data which is then stored securely off-site.
Network Monitoring
By monitoring your network a specialist is able to proactively alert you to potential issues. By solving problems before they impact on your server they can save your company both time and money by reducing server downtime.
Email Services
Effective communication is vital to all businesses. An efficient email system, whether hosted or held on site, is a necessary tool. Specialists are able to provide Hosted Exchange, removing the hassle of managing your own server, or fixed price Exchange server support, if you would rather keep it onsite. Services offered to compliment your Exchange support are Virus and Spam Scanning services and Email
Archiving.
If you are a small to medium sized business looking for fully outsourced IT support, or an in-house team looking for complimentary support, then specialist services are perfect for you.

Riding Saturday morning if anyone’s around. 8:30 for a 9 o’clock start. Meet @ Nonnas.
see you there mate…..
Charity shoot at Chatsworth I am afraid…keep your head down if you are coming through!!
Child care for me. (Payback for wanting two days next weekend).
I’ll be out. Any route ideas Nick? They managed to get over 60 miles in last Saturday! How about that long touted trip to Long Hill?
No route planned Ben, so yeah, let’s do the Long Hill if that suits everyone. Could do with being back before Sunday!
http://www.bikemap.net/route/1368239
61 miles. Could do Winnats to make it a bit shorter! Cafe options in Buxton and Tideswell. I’ll put it on my GPS but happy for us to go anywhere else
I won’t make tomorrow, my turn to babysit. I might take your route for Sunday though, cheers Ben. See you next Saturday.
I’ll be out but it will be a case of see how I go and I’m almost certain to drop off the back.
Might be there 2moro, but I’m feeling guilty about not backing up my data of late…

In answer to Steve Crapper’s question: it’ll be great if you can bring along riders from Bolsover & District Cycling Club on Sunday 27th. Meet us at Nonnas, Chesterfield at 9:30am ready for a 10am-ish start. In answer to Juston’s question: glad to hear you’re making the trip over from Manchester on 27th May. A [...]
Am I right in thinking that Justin said Manchester to Chesterfield ? Is there a second secret squirrel Rapha ride that coincides with the circular route from ChesVegas ?
Correct Paul. Rapha have a sample sale in Manc this weekend so they’re doing a ride to Chesterfield from there on Sunday, meeting us lot in Youlgreave.

Anyone got any tire recommendation, for me Blackpool to Paris, trip, main considerations are grip, weight, punctures. Obviously I could go tractor tyres that will roll over anything without a puncture but, don’t want to lug em up the hills.

Great weekend guys in Pitlochry – thought the ride was probably the best cycling event I’ve done in my short career – but remember, neigh, it’s not about the bike:

Public Safety Announcement:
To clarify the shout when a car is approaching from either direction
Car Up – Means a car is coming from behind you
Car Down – Means a car is coming towards youAn easy way to remember this is; coming from behind is ’UP’ your arse and coming towards you is ’DOWN’ your throat.
Now that is cleared up we can confuse things with Car Back.
Up, down – translate – oh yes, that way.
Front, back, no translation….tradition I suppose!
Whats the etiquette for badgers in the road…
merckx
shouldn’t that be ’Hinault’
probably but Merckx just sounds better
Indeed Tony, Hinault it is; but a shout of either Merckx or Hinault will suffice when there is a Badger in the road!
Nice one Matt. more in-depth details here: http://www.redhillcc.co.uk/page/hand-signals-and-shouts although only take your hands off to point if it’s safe to do so.
For pointing out holes/grids/horse crap it’s often better to also shout out ”INSIDE!”, ”MIDDLE!” or ”OUTSIDE!” to let people know of the whereabouts of an avoidable hole. If the hole/etc. is unavoidable then a shout of ”UNDER!” should let those behind to brace for impact.
Also a great little post from Michael Barry about do’s and don’ts of riding in a group: http://michaelbarry.ca/2011/11/the-group-ride-2/ Well worth a read for those who haven’t done a huge amount of group riding.I tend to use ’car’ as if its a car and ’fook. me wheels’ if its a pothole. Each to their own though.
I once ran over an already dead pheasant and didn’t shout anything. Feel bad now.

Rocked up for first Sunday ride with all the gear……..only to be dissappointed that no one else did. After 20mins awkward sitting sipping coffee in the delightful cafe listening the ambient music i decided i had better find some hills!
Is Sunday the day of rest and Sat the ride day?Hi Ian,the regular sunday guys usually start from 8.30am at the Fox House Inn,Howard,Anthony et al…worth sending a PM to Howard Wade, otherwise we tend to head out saturdays without fail…
I am free every other Sunday if youre local to Eccy road Ian, ride out and meet the others at Fox House, next Sunday I am free is 3rd June.
Tony-May be tempted to try Saturday’s again in a couple of weeks, ashma sorted, still a bit fat.
Your always welcome, have seen your distances are creeping up..

Couple of weeks in New Zealand shortly – looking at hiring a bike over there and doing some exploring (South Island). Anyone been / ventured out that way?
Brother in law is from Christchurch and has a large family. his brother is in the business of moving houses, bricks and all….i can put you in touch with him and to see what he knows?
cheersAmazing country. I’ve lived in Christchurch for a year, Wanaka for 6 months and a month in Nelson. A bit of a strange place for road cycling in my opinion. There just aren’t that many roads around so your route choice is fairly limited. Especially for enjoyable loops (we’re rather spoilt here in the UK for the number of small roads and the concentration of towns/villages) although the Port Hills and Banks Peninsula by Chch are really good cycling. It’s also one of the sketchiest places I’ve ridden for unobservant drivers.
MTB’ing on the other hand is really good with great biking to be had by all the towns and cities (Chch, Nelson, Wanaka, Queenstown) and some really good cross country routes.
Can give you more specifics if you want. If you’re out on Saturday then we can have a chat about it then.Your right about crap drivers. I think its due to a 50mph speed limit and big distances. (ie boredom). The scenery is stunning, but as Ben says there seem to be few side roads. (A bit like a supersize version of the Scottish Highlands).
Cheers chaps – it’ll be Invercargill I’m heading to (can’t get much further South!) so just trying to garner info on Southland area for now. There’s a velodrome nearby that should be able to help too…

I got terrible cramp in one calf and totally numb feet after about 3 hours riding Saturday, I can still feel in the calf now,not pleasant.
I tried to drink as much as poss resulting in excruciating stitch, being new to this road cycling malarkey can anyone suggest a cause, I’ve never had it before.
And please don’t invoke rule 5 as Nick Cotton did, I used that up riding up on Saturday on those bastard cobbles in Lincoln.Hi Phil, I find forcing down bananas (although I can’t stand them) keeps cramp at bay. One of my old cycling friends used to get cramp really bad and ended up having tonic water in his cycling bottle which worked for him (don’t think there was gin it it too).
Were you just drinking water or were you mixing it up with powder? I was on a full High5 diet (powders/gels/recovery etc) for 7 days straight for the TransWales and didn’t get cramp once. Must be some science in there that was helping! Try some different makes of energy drink and you’ll find one that works for you.Cheers pal, new to me, so any/all suggestions welcome, bloody hurt though…
Rice pudding is the way forward!
Looks like rice pudding with banana then for next big ride
Whats really helped me is putting electrolyte tablets in your water to take while you ride – the marketing blurb says they are basically replacing the chemicals you lose when you sweat – i have the zero calorie ones as i find adding sugars gives me gut rot!
Also telling your legs to ”shut up” may help
Cheers, Ill try a combination of everything next time, any ideas for Numb feet?

Team of 5 hit the Etape Caledonia today; Tony, Keith, Mick, Jon and Rob. 130km, 1200m of mostly undulating closed roads with one big hill and headwinds from hell. Top effort from Keith to sneak in under the four-hour mark.

Yep, good ride up n down dale today; cheers to pit crew Paul & Gav for the tube & air respectively. Kudos to the Garmin-Barracuda TTT too – that Red Arrows stylee peel-off was perfection!!
Good ride and good to go over the usual ground but in the reverse direction, TTTing it down Via Gella was fun and the cafe in Matlock was spot on. Well done Pelideli we should add that to the list of cycling friendly cafes.
peli deli top cafe stop, via gellia going down was harder than you think it would be, great to ride it with Matt & Ady, sorry about the punctures Dave.

Yeah…thanks for that Dan.
Fook me. I bet your fun on a club ride.
I hate you Dan.
???W.T.F??? I thought this was a cycling community page, not a personal bisness advertising board!!!
Wonder if he’ll change the battery on my laptop.
Wow, is this along the same lines as the scrabble accident that was posted last week? Any gambling tips Dan?
