Hello friends of the pedal
It’s now the end of the winter here in Courchevel and we’re gearing up for our ‘Alps to Ardeche’ charity cycle – 500km over 4 days and lots and lots of hills.
The riding is tough and this year’s course is set to be the longest and hilliest yet, incorporating the mighty 1909m summit of ‘Mont Ventoux’ in Provence on the final day.
Polly & I are doing this for fun & fitness & do not expect sponsored for something we are enjoying! However the group as a whole is fundraising & this year for ’Huck Cancer’. So If you do feel the need to be generous to this cause then It’s easy to donate by clicking on http://www.justgiving.com/alps-to-ardeche or texting ‘ATOA73 £xx’ (where ‘xx’ represents how much they want to donate) to 70070 (free text, UK phones only).
Many thanks.Lee & Polly

In reply to - Sandy Smith posted an update: Short notice but doing the Welsh Etape this Sunday. Closed roads, 100 miles, and well organised. Weather for Sunday looks ok…. Doing it with 3 others but have a spare place which probably wouldn’t cost anyone anything so if anyone fancies it let me know…. Cheers · View -
