Doing some calculations today I worked out that if i can could lose 2.5 stone and maintain my current power….I’d still be rubbish.

Froggatt? long hill at Buxton..?
It’s down south, do they have hills?
Froggatt and Grindleford are about right. If anything Box Hill is a bit easier. the hairpins break it up and the tarmac is nice since t’ ’lympics.
I guess you are in for Ride London, as am I. From what I have read the Leith Hill climb is harder than Box hill!!

I wouldn’t worry about the climbing mate….the southerners i have met think that hunters bar to banner cross is the tourmalet….us men of the peaks have a distinct advantage (apologies to all southerners)
3.7% is an undulation. You can get up Mam Nic Phil, you’ll be fine.
Can get up anything Gav but it would be nice to still be able to see you guys by the time that I have.
Don’t worry Phil. There is a nice cafe at the top of Box Hill. if, hypothetically, one of our club runs did go up Box Hillock – we’d be sat in there waiting for you.
PS Apart from the zig-zags at the bottom it’s a piece of cake – it makes Frogatt look alpine.
